Thanks for that Jan. I found the option.
But to send automatically, say once a month, I found Auto Message in the Play Store.

Schedule Texts and Chats

The Google Messages app that's the native SMS app on many models of Android phone (and available to download) now has a scheduling feature built in. The trick is to tap and hold the Send button (the arrow icon on the right) once you've composed your message.

This will bring up a panel with some suggested times later in the day. You can select one of these, or choose Pick date and time to specify an exact day and time. Until then it will stay as pending in the app, with the scheduled time and date above it.

If you're using Android, the exact setup of your phone will depend on the make and manufacturer, and you might find you've got other options. The default Messages app on Samsung devices, for example, has a scheduling function built in for delaying the sending of texts.

I'm after a SIM card for a GSM alarm. I had a Virgin which lasted for ever but I was too slow to update card last year and it has died. And of course post BREXIT is an issue with UK SIMs roaming.
So, just want a basic card for SMS.
Looked at the Free.fr at €2/month, which includes some data, calls and texts. But I'm not anticipating much use!!
And Leclerc Mini + which charges per item plus €1.50/month taken from card credit.
All the other SIM cards seem to have a weekly/monthly time limit and are much more expensive.
Wondered if there was anything else out there??
And, related, how do I set up something on my Android phone to send a text automatically to the GSM alarm on the same day each month just to say "Hello KEI" ??
