We are wintering in Harderwijk this winter. A lovely sheltered location, close to the town where bars and restaurants remain open. The marina complex is quite new so very well laid out with amenities. The waterways guide has been updated with costs. Security is very good with lots of cameras monitoring the area and four harbour masters patrolling. Car parking available at 20 euros pm.

Hello, our syndicated boat, Brunel, is overwintering in Portofino in Eijsden which is just south of Maastricht. It was recommended by another DBA member who had overwintered there for several years. The harbour is sheltered and the site is secured. Contact: Peter at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. www.jachthaven-portofino.nl/
Good luck, Brendan

Jan, several DBA members have wintered in Amersfort over the years and I've visited them too and found it a nice town with good quay. The best people to ask would be Dutch owners of Dutch barge 't Majeur, who spent several winters there. Use the member finder to contact them searching for barge 't Majeur .

During one of the virtual Zoom meetings I over heard mentioning overwintering in Apeldoorn

So any information about that would be greatly welcome
