The weekly bulletin from the Nord Est Territory is out with news that the Port of Toul ( I assume they mean the Port de France, in the city center) will close at 19;00 hours on Aug. 11. Once closed they will "battardé" the port to maintain the water level. I can't get a translations for battarde but I think it means something along the lines of "batten down the hatches" in order to keep the water level steady. The locks out of Toul center, are already limited to one locking per hour so anyone in Toul who wants to leave is advised not to leave it to the last minute.
The Moselle is likely to close between Neuves-Maison and Fontenoy soon, they say. Those would lead to the Vosges.
The Marne au Rhin West, which is already mostly closed, will probably close the remainder, locks 52-70 in the next 7-15 days.
The rest of the Vosges that is open, in the Soane direction, will probably close progressively from Harsault in the next 7 days.
