Thanks Charlie,

I'm not in any rush to spend money on the sails at the moment as I'm on my last few days of welding - yay!

I may even spend some on myself now :)

I'll be working around there a few day a week until the end of the year so just drop me a line some time when you are free.

Good luck with the jury service - sounds exciting!

Paul

Paul Hi. That sounds great but for the fact that I am on jury service at the moment. The nearest sail maker I know is at Brightlingsea in Essex. I maybe clear at the end of next week but I'm spending a great deal of time in Suffolk building the new barge... But will let you know. An evening might be possible. C

Hi Charles,

I'm always running between London and Southampton at the moment.

I keep meaning to call you about my last query on about using Thinsulate.

We met briefly last year on one of your Hermitage open weekends.

I'm actually working next to Tower Bridge at the moment. Maybe I could buy you lunch/beer on return for your thoughts.

All the best,

Paul

Hi,

Can anyone recommend someone who might be able to do a bit of work on a canvas sail?

There is a patch to do and some stitching to reinforce too.

I'm going to get the sail cleaned - can anyone recommend a treatment after cleaning and repairs?

Many thanks,

Paul
