and being cold I stayed inside and tinkered with some automation.

I just finished the working prototype for a 'correct' engine room blower controller.
Not sure how many need one, but why have a blower running when the engine is not hot?
I was preached to by many experts that the inside temperature should not be more than 25F (14C) higher than the intake temperature
So I Grabbed a little Arduino, 2 temperature sensors and a relay, so the blower now turns on if the the difference in temperature is 25F

Total cost Arduino $16, two probes $10 relay $5 and some other small stuff. so about. $40 - $50.
(YES an on/off switch is cheaper)

Not wanting to bore the real bargees who use a blower connected to the start key or a manual switch .......I can give more details to anybody who wants such a contraption
